I hate u (but not really)
summary: She’s impulsive. He’s impossible. Teamed up on missions and constantly at each other’s throats, they’d rather fight than cooperate.
note: Im telling u, this is gonna be a series, and it’s gonna be THE BEST, ok maybe not but still kinda good. (plus, i had to edit this in my phone so if titles or shit like that are not aligned or well situated it’s bc I cannot make it any better on my phone, sorry!).xoxo
Chapter I - Chapter II - Chapter III - Chapter IV
Tumblr media
Act Natural (And By Natural We Mean Obsessed) (chapter I)
Regret Is a Warm Bed and Cold Silence
Morning light streamed through the hotel room’s tall windows. You were already awake, lying stiffly on your side of the bed, eyes wide open, back to Bucky.
You hadn’t moved since the kiss. Neither had he.
The room felt impossibly still, thick with the weight of the silence. You’d pulled away first—slow, deliberate, like the space between you was something you couldn’t rush. You rolled onto your side, facing the wall, your heart pounding in your chest as if it was trying to make up for the words you couldn’t speak. The air around you hung heavy, thick with unspoken thoughts. You didn’t know if he was still awake, if he was pretending to sleep, or if he regretted it.
Of course he regretted it.
The thought lodged itself in your mind, sharp, cold. And just as you thought your heart couldn’t sink any further, a knock came at the door.
You flinched, a jolt of tension shooting through your body. He groaned beside you, low and tired, like the sound was escaping against his will. Without a word, Bucky swung his legs off the bed, the soft rustle of sheets breaking the silence. He pulled on a shirt with quick, practiced movements, then shuffled toward the door, his hand lingering on the handle for just a moment before opening it—just a crack.
Natasha’s voice came through. “Change of plans.”
You sat up fast.
“There’s another target. Higher up. He’s here. You need access to the VIP lounge tonight. And the only way in is with a security escort or…” She trailed off.
“Or what?” Bucky asked.
You heard the smirk in her voice. “Or being voted the hottest couple on the guest list.”
You stared.
He blinked.
“No,” you both said at once.
“Yes,” she replied, already turning away. “You’re on in twelve hours. Get convincing.” She shoot the door and the silence creepted inside the big-ass room.
Then you muttered, “So we have to be… clingy. Like full-on disgusting couple mode.”
He looked like someone had asked him to eat a grenade. “Like making out in public clingy?”
“Like touching. Gazing. Flirting. Giggling.”
He rubbed his temples. “Kill me now.”
You sighed. “You low key should be by now”. He looked at you and he gave a fake laugh, he really didn't know how to do it so he wouldn't kill you.
Public displays of (Way Too Much) affection
You hadn’t held Bucky’s hand until tonight.
The warmth of his fingers wrapped around yours was unexpected, a solid, firm grip that anchored you in a way you didn’t quite know how to respond to. At first, it felt oddly comforting—but it wasn’t long before it became something else entirely.
Annoying.
“Stop squeezing,” you hissed through a tight smile, trying to hold it together.
Bucky glanced down at you, his face set in that familiar, stubborn expression. “You’re walking like you’re going to a funeral,” he growled, steering you with more force than necessary toward the bar. “No one’s buying this.”
You exhaled sharply, a small puff of air that did nothing to ease the tension coiling in your chest. Then, with a smile that was way too sweet, you slid your arms around his waist, pulling yourself a little closer. “Better?”
He stiffened under your touch, the muscles in his back locking. You leaned into him, letting your head rest against his chest, the fabric of his shirt warm against your cheek. “Relax, old man. You’ve been touched before.”
“I’m trying to stay in character,” he muttered, his voice low and tight.
“Which one?” you whispered, eyes sparkling with mischief. “The boyfriend or the bitter grandpa?”
Before he could snap back, a voice interrupted. The host approached with a smile, all charm and polish. “Mr. and Mrs. White,” he greeted, his eyes scanning both of you. “Welcome back. Looking stunning tonight.”
You flashed a grin, giving your best impression of the perfect wife. “Thank you,” you beamed. “My husband picked the dress.”
Bucky’s jaw twitched at that, his fingers tightening around yours for a split second before he released the pressure, almost like he couldn’t decide whether to hold on or pull away.
“The man has such good taste,” the host added, a genuine note of approval in his voice.
You gave Bucky a look so sickly sweet it could melt vibranium. “He really does,” you said, all warmth and admiration, your voice sugar-coated.
The host led you both to a VIP table, and once he was out of earshot, Bucky leaned in, voice dropping low and rough. “We’re going to hell for this.”
You leaned closer, your lips brushing against his cheek as you kissed him slowly, deliberately, the sensation lingering long after your lips parted.
He froze, his entire body going rigid beneath your touch. “What are you doing?” he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, his breath hitching against your skin.
“There’s a camera above us,” you murmured, the words barely escaping your lips as you pulled back just enough to let the implication settle in.
His eyes flickered upward briefly, then, without a word, he turned toward you, his lips crashing against yours in a kiss that was anything but quick.
It was supposed to be a simple gesture—a show for the camera. But in that instant, everything blurred. Your hands tangled in his jacket, his grip tightening around your waist, pulling you closer. The room, the mission, even your own name—all of it faded into the background. All that existed was the pressure of his lips against yours, the heat of his touch, the feeling of being completely and utterly lost.
When he pulled away, his voice was rough, low in your ear. “They’re watching.”
You took a shaky breath, trying to steady yourself. You smiled—too perfectly, too calmly—like your heart wasn’t hammering out of your chest. “Oh,” you said, your voice light, teasing. “Guess we’re good at this.”
His eyes darkened, the usual teasing glint replaced by something deeper. “Too good.”
The Confrontation — No More Pretending
Later, in the safe house after the mission, neither of you spoke.
The target had been neutralized. The stolen tech was in SHIELD’s hands. The mission was a success.
But you felt like you were still shaking.
From his hands on you.
From his mouth on yours.
From the way he looked at you like he wanted to believe it was all fake—but couldn’t.
You stood at the window, arms crossed, trying to slow your breathing.
Behind you, Bucky paced.
Then finally—finally—he said, “This was a mistake.”
You turned. “What was?”
“All of it. This whole thing. The pretending. The touching. The kiss.”
You laughed, cold and sharp. “Which one?”
He stopped pacing. Met your eyes. “You think this is a game to me?”
“No, I think you’re scared,” you snapped. “Scared that maybe it wasn’t all fake. That maybe you actually felt something—”
He crossed the room in two strides. “Of course I did.”
Silence.
The air cracked between you.
You stepped back, suddenly breathless. “Then why are you running from it?”
“Because I can’t feel that way,” he said. “Not about you.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’d burn the world down to protect you,” he whispered, voice shaking. “And you deserve someone who won’t.”
Your heart twisted.
He turned away.
You grabbed his wrist. “Bucky.”
He stopped.
You stepped in front of him, placed your hand over his chest. “I don’t need perfect. I don’t need safe. I need you.”
He looked at you like he was still trying to convince himself you were real.
Then he kissed you again.
And this time, it wasn’t fake. It was as real as the air you're breathing.
And neither of you pulled away.

Loverboy Part Two
Summary: Two years after saving Echo from the Skakoans, you finally come across him again.
Pairing: Echo x Sith!Reader
Warnings: 18+ MINORS DNI; SMUT, oral (m receiving), Echo has a penis, unprotected p in v, cum eating?, Tech and Hunter get their butts kinda kicked???
WC: 2.8K
A/N: Well, I finally did it. I know I wrote this in February but I can't tell you guys how excited for this idea I was. I still have more planned but I've got 6 WIPS going, so we'll see.
Part One | Part Three
Tumblr media
When you get back to Kohlma, Master Dooku explains that Wat Tambor demands that the Separatists have you executed for treason. You’re not in the least bit surprised.
“I should do it.” Your master angrily paces around, thinking of how to get the Skakoans off his back. “What you did was irresponsible and treasonous. Tell me… why did you do it?”
You stand up straighter. “What Tambor is doing is vile and disgusting. That was a person, Master. I just couldn’t stand by and watch.”
He sighs. “You have to stop being so impulsive. Remember what happened to Ventress and Savage?”
“Yes, Master.” You nod. “They turned on us.”
“That’s right. I would hate to see you turn on me too.” He tells you, placing a hand on your shoulder. “I’ll take care of Tambor, but you need to lay low for a while.”
You look up at him, confused. “Where am I supposed to go?”
“That is for you to decide.” He starts to walk away. “Just stay out of trouble.”
You decide the lower levels of Coruscant were probably a good place to lay low for the time being. Master Dooku sets you up with enough credits to at least get you by.
You’re staying in a run down hostel that definitely isn’t the cleanest nor the safest.
“How long will you be staying?” The hostel clerk asks, barely looking up from their magazine.
You look around at the sketchiness of it all. Hopefully not long, you think to yourself.
“A couple weeks.” You tell them, giving the right amount of credits.
They hand you a room key and you walk up to a shared room already occupied by a Rodian woman who looks at you when you enter.
“Hey.” You side eye her, setting your bag underneath the bunk.
She nods, acknowledging you.
“Do you speak Basic?” You ask her.
“I do.” She responds.
“Okay great. Don’t touch my stuff.” You lay down on your bed, looking up at the ceiling.
You never truly felt at home on Serenno but you suddenly miss the bed that you had there. It was softer than this. And while Dooku wasn’t hospitable in the slightest, you knew he wouldn’t try to kill you in your sleep.
He’d at least have the decency to wait until you woke up, you think to yourself, laughing internally.
You had never been this far down into Coruscant before. You’d only ever been on the surface in your attempts to assassinate Chancellor Palpatine. Did Dooku really have that much faith in you that you’d be able to make it on your own? You know that if you’re going to make it on your own, you’re going to have to get crafty.
Two Years Later…
When you had caught wind of your master’s death, at the hands of Anakin Skywalker, no less, you left Coruscant. You wanted nothing to do with the remaining Sith. Chancellor Palpatine turned out to be a Sith Lord with a new apprentice, Darth Vader. You wanted no part in that shit show, so you ran. Again. You now live on the down low on Ord Mantell. You did bounty work on the side every now and then, but always masked and under a fake name, and only when you were low on credits.
You’re doing your monthly grocery pick up, headed home, when you sense him before you see him… or at least, you think you do. He’s with his brothers… and a kid. It couldn’t be possible… right? Why would they have a kid with them? Your eyes follow the big guy as they’re headed into Cid’s. You put on your mask and follow them, sitting in the dark corner near the stairs.
Immediately, you can sense the one with the bandana wary of you. Good. He should be. But you keep to yourself, watching as Echo takes off his helmet, sitting it down on the bar. Your heart clenches when you see him.
“Are you fresh out of the tube? Get that dirty thing off my clean counters.” Cid tells him.
“This is clean?” The goggled one speaks up.
“You think just because you’re gone for a year, you can come back here and I’ll have work for you, just like that?” Cid snaps her fingers.
“Yeah, actually.” The one with the bandana speaks up. He’s clearly the leader.
“Well, you’re in luck.” Cid claps her hands together. “I do.”
“Wrecker, take Omega to get something to eat.” The one with the bandana tells the big guy.
Wrecker and the kid start to leave, but not before the girl glances at you with a slight smile. You nod to her and as soon as she and Wrecker are gone, the one of the bandana raises his blaster to you and the other two follow in suit. You stand up, bringing one end of your saberstaff to life.
“A Sith?” The goggled one asks, clearly confused.
“I’d put those away if I were you, boys.” You warn.
“Take that outside!” Cid waves her hands. “You’ll all pay for any damages!”
You wait for them to put their blasters down but they don’t. You know you have no room for errors here. You can’t kill his brothers, he’ll never forgive you.
“Who are you?” Bandana asks you. “What do you want?”
“Looking for him.” You nod in Echo’s direction.
“That’s too bad.” Bandana tells you.
Does he think you’re trying to take Echo? You really don’t want to fight. Mostly because you don’t want to draw any attention to yourself, but they pointed their weapons at you first and they’re not exactly giving you room to explain yourself.
“I promise you’ll lose this fight. Put your weapons down and I’ll put mine down.” You tell them.
“Not a chance.” Bandana spits.
Echo’s staring at you, eyes squinting like he’s trying to figure you out. Bandana fires first and you deflect it, sending the blast into the wall. He charges toward you and you flick your saber off so that you can jump over him, tripping him with your staff. The goggled one fires next but you dodge him and force push him into Bandana. Echo has his gun raised toward you but you force push him to his knees as you deflect his arm. He doesn’t even try to fire, though.
Echo is kneeling in front of you, practically at your mercy. You tilt his chin up toward you with the hilt of your saberstaff. He finally looks at the hilt and then, back up at you with confused, wide-eyes. Wow, you missed those cheekbones. Those brown eyes.
“Hello, loverboy.” You smile, pulling your mask off.
He murmurs your name as you kneel down toward him as you pull your saberstaff away from him, connecting it to the magnetic holder on your back, under your cape. You cup his face.
“I thought you were dead…” He murmurs.
“I thought you were.” You run your thumbs over those cheekbones you think of often.
You sense Bandana and Goggles get up and point their guns at you but you force pull the guns so they clatter near you.
“It’s fine.” Echo tells them, holding up his hand.
You can’t take your eyes off of him. He looks good. So much better than when you’d left him with his brothers and Skywalker.
“I’ve thought of you often.” He tells you as he gets up, helping you up like the gentleman he is.
“I’ve thought of you, too.” You admit.
“How did you find me?” He asks you.
“I was walking home and I saw you.” You smile. “Well… more like I felt you and then I saw you.”
“Home? You live around here?” He asks you.
“Just down the street actually.” You nod. “We have a lot to catch up on.”
“We do.” He agrees, grinning, just as happy to see you as you are him.
“Excuse me, did you not just see what she did to us?” The goggled one speaks up, clearly annoyed.
You bend down and pick up their blasters, handing them back to them. “Are we good? You did shoot at me first.”
“This is Hunter and Tech.” Echo introduces you.
You nod to them and they ignore you, returning to the bar where the bartender returns from wherever they were and starts pouring drinks.
“You wanna see my place?” You ask Echo.
Echo looks at Hunter and Hunter grunts out a ‘fine’ and Echo gestures for you to lead the way. You grab your bag of groceries which Echo, ever the gentleman, takes for you and carries. You thank him with a soft smile.
On the walk to your apartment, you’re both quiet. You don’t necessarily want to air out your business for any random bystander to hear, so you wait. Echo seems to understand and follows quietly but happy enough, next to you.
Once you reach your apartment, you unlock the door and open it for him. Echo sets your groceries on the counter and is on you before your door is even closed. He cups your face with his flesh hand and rests his scomp arm on your lower back so that he can still hold you close. You hum against his lips.
“Hold on.” You kiss him once more before pulling away so that you can set your saberstaff down and take your cape off, kicking your shoes off next.
Echo eyes your tighter form fitting black jumpsuit as you unzip it from the front, letting it fall to the floor. You can practically see his pupils blow with lust, instantly. You smile at him as you approach him so you can help him take his armor off until he’s just left in his bodysuit. You run your hands down his chest.
“I should have left with you that day…” You whisper.
“You should have.” Echo agrees. “I could have protected you.”
“You really think so, huh?” You smirk.
“I know so.” He kisses you again.
You start to pull off his shirt but he holds your hand over his chest and you can sense the nervousness within him.
“It’s okay. I still think you’re beautiful…” You whisper, looking up at him.
He smiles ever so slightly and lets you continue taking his shirt off, dropping it by the door. You look at his bare chest, running your hands down it. The equipment that the Skakoans put there is gone but replaced with Republic technology. To keep his heart beating, you realize.
“Let me help you with these.” You tease the edge of his pants and kiss his jaw before sinking to your knees in front of him.
He leans against the door as you start to pull his pants down, releasing his thick, hardened length from its confinements. You start to salivate almost immediately, knowing you’re going to love having it down your throat soon. You keep pulling his pants down until you’re met with his mechanical legs. You sense him start to tense up with his nerves but you place a kiss to his stomach.
“You’re still perfect, Echo.” You sigh, looking up at him, softly.
“I love the way my name sounds on your tongue.” He murmurs, his voice raspy and gruff.
“I think you’re gonna like something else on my tongue.” You wink up at him and he cards a finger through your hair.
“Oh yeah, like what?” He teases you as you pull his pants the rest of the way off.
You figure you can show him better than you can tell him, so you lick a stripe up the underside of his cock and then swirl the tip with your tongue before sinking the rest of your mouth down on it. He groans so deeply that you can feel it in your chest.
“You-you’re really good at that.” He whispers, his head leaning back on the door.
You hum appreciatively around him and start to bob your head up and down on his cock, staying like that, letting him guide you up and down at whatever pace he wants. He settles for a quick one, gripping your hair as he guides you. When he pulls your mouth off with a ‘Pop’, you notice the long string of saliva and precum connected from his cock to your chin. He moans at the sight and you can sense the deep desire this man has for you.
“Need more of you.” He tells you, pulling you up to your feet. “Bedroom?”
You wipe your face and lead him to your bedroom where you barely have time to turn to face him before he pushes you back on the bed where he joins you, leaning over you. He kisses you deeply on the lips before trailing down to your breasts, taking each nipple in his mouth and then sucking deep colored marks on your breasts. You squirm against his cock, rutting against him, whining breathlessly. “Kriff… you’re soaked.” He notices.
“If you don’t shove your cock into me soon, I’m going to explode.” You whine.
He sits back for a moment, pushing your thighs up toward your chest and you help him out by holding them as he lines up his cock with your entrance. Both of you let out deafening moans.
“I can already tell I don’t want you to ever leave.” You chuckle.
“Then, don’t let me.” He kisses your ankle and starts to thrust into you deeply.
You swear you see stars as he drags his cock slowly in and out of you. You know you’re never letting this man out of your grasp again.
“Come to the light side.” Echo teases you as he thrusts into your soaked cunt.
“Never gonna happen.” You smirk, flipping him over so that you can ride him.
He looks up at you, wide-eyed in wonder. “You’re an angel.”
“Quite the opposite, love.” You grind your hips against his and his eyes roll back in his head slightly, making him moan loudly with need.
You’re going to ruin Echo in the best way possible, and he’s excited for it. He tries to take control but you force push him back down so you can continue riding his cock.
“No… fair.” He grunts.
“Told you I’m no angel.” You grin down at him. “Tell me it doesn’t feel good.”
“It… does.” He pants, gripping your hip with his flesh hand. “Maker, it really does. Your pussy is completely ethereal.”
You grin down at him and start to bounce up and down on him.
“Keep that up… and I’m going to finish… a little too soon.” He struggles.
“Hm.” You consider it for a moment and then start to bounce faster, circling your hips.
He pulls you by your neck so he can kiss you, shoving his tongue deep into your mouth and you both fight for dominance as wet slapping sounds and moans fill your room.
Without a warning, Echo flips you back over so that you’re underneath him, thrusting so hard that you start to move up toward the head of the bed. You groan as you realize he’s that perfect spot inside, threatening to send you over the edge.
“Don’t cum yet.” He grunts.
“I… don’t know if I-” You struggle as you whimper.
“Please.” He whispers.
You nod and he starts fucking into you quicker, until he starts to empty into you, groaning into your neck, biting down. After he calms down, he sits back up, still hard inside of you. He starts to rub your clit and you feel your pussy clench around his cock, feeling full of him. You start to moan as he speeds up against your clit, rubbing faster. When you start to come, you feel his cum squirt back out all over his cock. You realize why he made you wait and you push him over on his back so that you can slide down his body and take his cock in your mouth again, cleaning every drop of cum off of him that you can.
“That mouth is…” He struggles to find words.
When you finish cleaning him up with your tongue, you join him at the head of the bed again, in the crook of his arm, resting your head on his shoulder, looking up at him. He looks down at you as well and kisses you on the nose.
“Thank you for saving my life.” He murmurs, kissing your lips. “My life is yours.”
“Mine is yours, too.” You whisper softly against his lips.
You both know that you have a lot of lost time to make up for and lots of things to talk about, but right now, you just enjoy being in each other’s arms. For once, you have something to look forward to and feel good about the future.

Linked Universe Zeldas:
My takes on LU style- Zelda’s. Note: I don’t really follow Linked Universe, and I don’t like a lot of their takes on the Links, so uh, don’t assume these Zelda’s dealt with the LU versions of the Links.
SS: goes by Hylia, she jokingly suggests it when they’re picking nicknames, and everyone else just pauses for a second then realises who exactly she is and freaks the fuck out, so it kinda sticks as a combination of an in-joke and just... well, she’s Hylia reborn, can’t argue with that! The others are all low-key taken aback by how not-leadery she is, she tends to be the most hands-off when it comes to planning because well- she just guards the triforce, Link is the one who earned all 3 pieces and used it’s full power. Meanwhile her descendants picked up Wisdom sometime in the intervening centuries, so she’s pretty happy to leave the plans to them and stick to being a mediator. Third most likely Zelda to pick a fight she can’t win, most likely to win despite that.
Minish Cap: goes by Shortie, bc these beanpoles tried that with Tetra and she threatened to stab them, but Minish just found it hilarious so it stuck. Surprisingly quick to pick up how to fight, occasionally gets the other Zelda’s into trouble by running off, but they usually agree with her that whatever caught her eye was actually pretty worth it, because deep down they’re all massive nerds, no matter how functional they appear. Also tends to randomly grab gifts for the other Zeldas.
Four Swords: just goes by Four, jokes about how much her Hero(es) would be annoyed by that. Usually the first to notice encroaching danger, and always the first to investigate it. At first the more combat-experienced Zelda’s were Concerned(tm) that she is the one sticking herself into unknown dangers, until she pointed out that A) she is considerably less likely to get herself caught unless Sheik wants to go, bc she knows she has less leeway to get caught than they are and B) they won’t be down a fighter for the rescue if she’s the one who gets caught, which they reluctantly concede.
OoT: goes by Regrets, which like, the other Zelda’s just hear her bitterly pick as soon as the topic comes up and immediately decide they aren’t touching that emotional baggage. It’s an mix of Child and Adult timeline Zelda, which kinda fucks her up when she thinks about it- especially seeing as she remebers both Ganondorf breaking free and killing one of the Seven Sages in the child timeline, and what became of the Hero of Time... who she remembers clinging to the thought he got to have the childhood he rightfully should’ve in the Adult Timeline, as the waves climbed up over Hyrule to seal the awakened and unchallenged Ganondorf. So yeah, she tries not to. She also remembers the start of the Defeat Timeline, where she was too late to save the Hero and was forced to lead the exhausted and scattered remains of her people to war to kill the Demon King.
Wind Waker: literally just Tetra, she also is the first to look at the less murder-happy Zeldas and give them a knife. She’s currently working on getting them all up to basic pirate crew levels of fighting without magic, just in case, and she’s constantly pestering the fight-y Zelda’s to a spar. Regrets goes along because she’s had three slightly different Zelda’s merged in her head so her skills are a little rusty, Hylia likes to do it just because people keep forgetting she learned to fight at the same school Link did, and their responses when she reminds them are funny to her. Tetra is picked up from after establishing New Hyrule, and she looks up to Hylia more than she’s willing to admit, often going to her for advice on the whole ‘founding a nation in peaceful cohabitation with the locals’ thing. Second most likely to start a fight she can’t win.
Spirit Tracks: goes by Ghost, refuses to explain the joke to any of the others and thinks she’s hilarious for it. She is, but she doesn’t need the ego stoke. They find out about the ghost thing when she accidently astral projects in her sleep at one point and wakes up to them freaking out over her corpse, which is implied to happen often. Tetra notices that she’s really really weird to train as a fighter, because she already fights pretty well but she also fights like she’s a giant fuck-off suit of armour with a sword as big as she is. She finds it amazing to get to meet Tetra, and is constantly asking her if various stories she heard as a child are actually true or if her mother just made them up or exaggerated. They were not, and Ghost thinks Tetra is the coolest person on the planet for it.
Twilight Princess: goes by Twilight, out of tribute to Midna’s nickname for her. Absolutely misses Midna, respects Regrets more than Regrets thinks she should, but she still angsts a lot about how she just surrendered to the unkillable army its implied she’s the only one who could even see properly who could turn them all into ghos- ahem. I may or may not have opinions about people thinking it’s the wrong decision from out of universe. But yeah, she absolutely angsts about it, and really looks up to Tetra and Regrets bc at least they acted, she just sat in her tower and waited for the hero she knew would be coming. Saying that though, she indulged Tetra’s pestering to fite exactly once (1), and promptly kicked her ass and went back to her book. Because really, what else was she going to do with all that free time while Link was fishing to win a Heart Container and she couldn’t leave her room? Ganondorf had to get the idea to have her use a sword somewhere.
FSA: Even among Zelda's, she stands out for how friendly she is- more than once she brought a ‘new friend’ back to camp who’d been trying to kill them seconds earlier. This got her the nickname Torch, because she shines light into even the darkest of creatures- although, Hylia would like it if she never interacted with any of the mini-Imprisoned from HW ever again please and thank you, that was a step too far for exotic pets.
(I’ll do a followup post for the Defeat Timeline, it has a lot of the older games I haven’t played and need to familiarise myself with the characters in, and it’s already getting late)
Hyrule Warriors: goes by Sheik, was unironically ready to fight her ancestor for the name, but Regrets doesn’t really care. Speaking of regrets, upon learning that Regrets did the exact same disguise in the Adult timeline, Sheik immediately wants to go stab Cia (and maybe Lana too) for letting her think she was getting away with the disguise when Cia had literally seen the exact same trick just one timeline over. (post post-game definitive edition, so Cia has her redemption arc) She also was never meant to be the bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom, and views it as a burden- without Cia’s interference, the Triforce of Wisdom and it’s visions would’ve been passively sitting in the royal vaults instead of etched into her hand, but fate got confused when the Triforce had been split, but the one who should inherit Wisdom was much better suited to Courage. This leads to a bit of a disconnect sometimes, where fate has changed her into a suitable host for the Triforce of Wisdom, but she just kinda isn’t one. She’s also a MASSIVE nerd (I saw those TP references in Linkle’s Twilight stage Nintendo! She literally started dropping random history quotes after almost dying, the nerd) so she’s constantly fangirling over all her famous ancestors, because if anyone had managed to hear legends from all 3 timelines, it would be HW Zelda. The most likely to pick a fight she can’t win, she literally only pretends to be functional and have impulse control when they’re in her Hyrule and her people can see her.
BOTW:
Both BoTW Zeldas avoid each other like the plague because yeah, that’s a physical manifestation of my failures. They’re not consolidated like OoT was for bonus angst- because just merging them would show her there’s a happier timeline where all of her friends survived and Hyrule didn’t fall and crumble to ruins while she and Link took a 100 year nap.
AoC: goes by Terrako, because why the hell not. Has Terrako with her, which gets confusing, but he’s an adorable Eggy Boi, and basically team mascot. Is using her Master Cycle+Sheikah Slate movesets, bc she tried to use her Goddess bow moveset and reality just kinda glitched bc there were two Zelda’s using the exact same power, and they both agreed to never try that again.
BoTW: goes by Architect, because that’s what she spends half her time doing these days. Regularly nerds out with Sheik. Low-key dying inside from self-worth issues rearing up again now that she’s hanging out with all these legendary queens, but tries not to let it show and keep with a positive attitude, too mixed results.

What do the JL think of Bette? Specifically Barry, Hal, Clark, Arthur, Ollie, and Diana
I very much love that you included two of my favourite characters here.
Barry:
Bette spent many of her formative years in Gotham, so you can bet your ass that this girl is ACAB
Now, I don’t know if you’ve been called a bastard by a thirteen-year-old in a red dress, but Barry Allen has
Life-altering experience
He spends an hour asking Bruce what he did wrong, why does Bat-Girl hate him? He hasn’t even spoken to her yet what could he have done
And Bruce just... the fun explanation that she hates all cops. Instantly. Oh you’re a CSI that must be fun, it doesn’t matter, it’s already on sight for you
Like, okay, in Gotham? Pretty much every cop is dirty. Gordon, Montoya & Bullock are the only ones that Bette knows aren’t & she still doesn’t really trust them
So she’s not gonna be particularly nice to Barry Allen & Bruce literally has to tell her to behave
(Kathy is very amused by it all)
There’s a moment where Barry thinks she just hates speedsters, but then she & Wally seem to be getting on great. Like, Kid Flash is awesome, cool fast guy. Flash is a cop & therefore she cannot trust him
Bat-Girl: I can respect you as a hero but I do not like you as a person
So, yeah, Barry’s, uh, iffy on her. He’s sure she’s a great hero & she seems nice to the others, but he’d really rather not work with her, even when she’s Flamebird/Hawkfire. Especially when she’s Flamebird/Hawkfire, then she’s got tasers & flamethrowers
Hal:
Very different from how she interacts with Barry
Mainly because she first meets Hal after Kathy’s died & she goes to Coast City as part of her whole ‘run away from her emotions’ thing
She’s always loved the beach & Coast is supposed to be so nice. Plus, they’ve got Green Lantern; they’re not gonna need her to suit up, are they?
And then there’s an incident with Manhunters & like, Hal’s got this handled, no doubt about it, but also, Bette is impulsive & has a massive hero complex & yes she does suit up & help out. She does it because it’s right, because she’s angry, just because
But Hal kinda freaks out? Because she’s a kid and yeah, that might fly in Gotham where Batman can keep an eye on her, but oh god, what if he was fighting Sinestro? That’s low key terrifying to him, he doesn’t wanna put a kid in danger
He’s still good with kids. Like, that’s canon, he’s just good with them. So he & Bette do get along & after he gets over the initial ‘please do not fight mass murdering robots you need adult supervision & idk if I qualify for that’, they do actually spend time together!
Mainly because Hal isn’t too comfortable letting a teenage vigilante who just experienced a massive lost be alone & honestly? He’s right. Like, Kathy has just died & Bette threw herself into an extremely dangerous fight... red flags all around, my dudes
So they do work together while she’s in Coast. She only stays a few weeks before she moves on, but she does kinda like Green Lantern?
And the feeling’s mutual. They don’t really keep in contact but Hal keeps an eye on the news to make sure she’s okay & not, uh, dead
They don’t actually meet face to face until a dumb Justice League party years later & then they discover that Bruce finds Hal annoying... he finds the concept of Bette & Hal even being acquaintances annoying... he’s given them the ultimate weapon. Bruce Wayne goes grey earlier and it’s because Hal & Bette spend an entire night pretending that they went on a massive space adventure, full of danger & peril, solely to drive up his blood pressure
Hal doesn’t look into her identity all that much, but thinks she’s fun. Anyone who annoys Bruce for fun is cool in his book
(And I know this is supposed to focus on his feelings about her but consider: Bette meets the Green Lantern of Coast City & he lets her stay in his shitty rundown apartment. Everything that can go wrong for him seems to, but he’s still there, making jokes and saving people and doing the right thing. His willpower keeps him going, even on the darkest of nights and maybe, just maybe, Bette’s stubbornness picked up a little bit of inspiration for somebody along the way)
(And maybe, maybe, she joins the fight against Parallax and realizes just how far her heroes can fall)
Clark:
Um, well, I absolutely headcanon that Clark gave Bette the name Flamebird. Like, told her the story, made a series of not-so-subtle mentions that she should take up the name...
So, yes, Clark knows Bette
She’s Bruce’s cousin, after all, and he’s his best friend. Of course, their paths would cross, especially with how often Clark seemed to work with Batman & Robin when they first started out
He’s worked with her a lot when she’s Bat-Girl & every single time, Bette is starstruck because oh my god, that’s Superman, she’s talking to Superman, she’s working with Superman
He tells her the legend of Nightwing & Flamebird when she’s a kid & she loves the concept of Flamebird. She’s only twelve at the time, but something about it clicks with her
And when she gives up on being Bat-Girl, but is still determined to be a hero, he suggests Flamebird
(Bette absolutely tears up at this)
They don’t really work together when she gets older, except on big, world ending disasters that require the entire Justice League’s attention, but he still sends her one of Ma Kent’s apple pies for the holidays
Clark’s just the cool uncle from when was younger
She stills freaks out a little every time he talks to her, though
She’s never gonna get over knowing Superman
Arthur:
It took me a while to think about this but, yes, Arthur likes Bette
Mainly because Bette is a friend of La’gaan’s. That’s pretty much how he knows her
He doesn’t even know she’s a part of the Batfamily for years, because she’s always seen with the Titans
So, like, he doesn’t really know her that much, but she’s a good friend to one of his sidekicks & La’gaan’s already made passing mentions to crashing at her & Gar’s place, so. Yeah. She got Aquaman’s seal of approval
Though Arthur is always gonna be entertained by how much teasing Flamebird is allowed to get away with. Most of the League may not be aware of her Special Cousin Privilages, he isn’t either, but it’s absolutely hilarious to see her tear into Batman at random
11/10, good friend to La’gaan, very entertaining. Would be better if she could keep a goldfish alive
Ollie:
Okay, so, Ollie is, like, shown to be nicer to the younger heroes, Kyle excluded because he’s dating his son, so she’s gonna be nice to her. Or, at least, Ollie nice. Hm.
He thinks she’s way too small when she first starts out because even when she’s eleven, Bette still looks like she’s nine, but she’s got two heroes looking out for her & with a kid sidekick of his own, he’s not in a place to judge
Aside from one poor team-up between Green Arrow & Speedy and Batwoman & Bat-Girl, where Ollie & Kathy absolutely butted heads, oh my god, they’d hate each other, he didn’t see much of her. He works in Star, she works in Gotham, when are their paths gonna cross
While she works less with most Leaguers the older she gets, she actually ends up working more with Ollie when she’s older
Mainly ‘cause she’s friends with Roy & Cass may be friends with Connor, but that doesn’t mean she can drive so sometimes she’ll get Bette to bring her to Star
Which is honestly what Ollie knows her most as: Batgirl’s older sister who’ll lend a hand whenever she’s in Star
She’s good with kids, efficient & a little showy, but he really can’t judge that last part. Got Roy & Dinah’s stamp of approval, though, & that goes a long way with him
They never, like, exclusively work together, but she’s good to call on in an emergency
He did do a double take when she called Deathstroke ‘uncle’ though because... well, look, at Flamebird. Now look at Deathstroke. Do you see his confusion? It only grows when Slade lets out the most exasperated sigh, mutters something about how he wishes he could kill her without Addie getting mad, and then Bette sticks her tongue out to him & makes some joke about the shitshow he married into
Well. At least his family will never involve Deathstroke
Diana:
Diana gave Bette the shovel talk
This is when DonnaBette is happening & close to figuring out each other’s identities & probably the biggest hint for Bette is Wonder Woman flying down to tell her that if she breaks Wonder Girl’s heart, she’ll have her to answer to
So. Diana’s first impression of Bette is Flamebird having an anerysm on a rooftop in Gotham because she just realized she’s dating Wonder Girl
The absolute dumbassary of DonnaBette, unparalled
Diana likes Bette, thinks she’s probably a great person, but it is her legal job as Donna’s big sister to make it clear that if anything happens to her baby sister, it means war
They end up meeting later, after Donna & Bette have had their mutual break-up, when Diana is working with Kate & Bette is still unable to form a full sentence. Wonder Woman oh my god, oh my god, her brain doesn’t work that’s actual literal Wonder Woman oh my go-
Bruce did later let it slip that after the Maxwell Lord incident, Bette was 100% on Wonder Woman’s side, which she honestly didn’t expect, but eh. Bette’s not as big on the whole no killing as her cousin
Diana mainly knows Bette in the capacity of her being Donna’s girlfriend
Definitely prefers her to some of Donna’s other partners ie Terry because I don’t csre what anyone says, that relationship was trash & I will not pretend that miss Diana Prince was okay with her nineteen-year-old sister dating a divorcee in his thirties that was also her professor

A week had gone by, and today finally felt like Bill and Star were on to something. Though there were still plenty of hiccups through the week due to Star being impulsive. A few nights ago, he had to tell her when she's getting the urge, "to count to ten for god's sake". Finally feeling comfortable with his act, he didn't even need Star to help him dress up this morning. He wore his Levi jeans with a denim shirt to match. The buttons only did halfway, showing off his bare chest and gold chain. It felt like he had a good grasp of his role in this game, today. He was looking over his notepad, filled with pages of addresses now. Circling the ones he felt were most important while he was sitting in the parked Pinto waiting while Star worked her corner. He glanced at his wrist watch, 13 minutes, had gone by and Star hadn't gotten out of the alley yet. He set his notepad down, listening to Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie, staring at the alley. Growing worried, he looked at his watch again, 30 seconds... then 3, 2, 1... shit.
Bill got out the car, popping his collar up, and taking long strides across the street to the alley. This particular jawn he came to know as, Green Granada, the car he drove. He was a frequent regular. From the back window of the Granada, he could see Star was struggling to get out as she yanked the door handle. Bill reached to the front of his waistband curling his fingers around the handle of his gun as he approached. He tapped the glass with the barrel, startling the jawn as he tried to cover himself. Bill glanced away from the sight giving the guy time to shove it back in his pants. When he looked back the stout fella looked like he was going shit himself, if he hadn't already.
"Unlock the fucking door now," Bill said through his teeth, bring his face close to his gun staring down the man through the window.
With a trembling stumpy finger, the jawn hit his auto unlock button, Star nearly falling out as soon as it was open. "Fucking limp dick asshole!" She yelled.
Bill still pointing his gun at Green Granada, moved his wrist in a small circle, to get him to roll the window down. "If I see you on this block again, I'll shoot you in the fucking kneecap, you hear me?" The man gulped unable to speak. Bill glanced above the hood and asked Star if she got paid. She shook her head still a little shook up herself. Bill held his free hand out collecting the money. "What are you still doing here? Get the fuck out of here!" The Granada quickly reversed out the alley, nearly getting hit and getting several honks, but the man never looked back at them once.
"Thanks," Star said fixing her dress back to her body and putting her curls back in place. Bill quickly tucked his gun away, he couldn't believe he just did that. Threatening a man with his life? He didn't know he had it in him and quite frankly it scared him.
"Are you okay?" He hooked a hand around her elbow helping her across the street.
"Hey!" She abruptly yelled. "Keep movin' I see you checkin' that radio!" She yelled at a kid peering through the car windows on their Pinto. The kid froze up in the act of getting caught.
"You heard her! Get!" Bill said and the kid bolted. He shook his head getting into the car.
"Sorry about all that back in the alley. I was trying to get out." She said to him lighting a cigarette.
"I saw. Are you okay, though?"
"Yeah," she exhaled smoke. "Al's been kinda weird since his divorce. He can't get his cock up, I try to help, but he just likes it when I watch," she shrugged. "But today," she whistled the little falling anvil tune, "it just sat in his hand all floppy and he was blaming me for it."
"Jesus Christ," Bill rubbed his eyes with one hand. "I got his plate number. I'm gonna make sure his worthless ass gets a ticket for something." He said pulling out of his parking spot and into the street.
Star laughed in delight. "Oh! And I got some names. Well, actually I know of a party, lots-a big ballers will be there."
"Really? Where?" Bill said. He was happy they finally had a flow working together now.
"Tonight. North Harlem!" She gushed.
"Great," he hated discos. "Okay, I guess we'll go. But, it's for work, Star. You hear me?"
Star squealed in glee. "It won't be bad. You can just brood around lookin' like you always do. And I'll go around working the party lookin' for names. Gina might be there too, I'll play nice, ask her where she got her dope."
Bill shook his head, "Gina's been in jail since two nights ago. Told the station about her."
"Already?!" She said appalled.
"What? She stole your money, remember? I got the station to get some deputies to follow her until she slipped up."
"I thought we were trying to work on the low? I got in a fight with her Bill! And then a few days later she's locked up? Just slap a sticker on my head that says snitch, for cryin' out loud!"
"Can you relax? Fight or not, she was already headed to jail. Don't worry. We're fine," he assured.
"We better be," she sighed. "You know what they say."
He rolled his eyes, "and what exactly do they say, Star?"
"The only good snitch is a dead snitch," she said matter of fact.
"Don't be ridiculous. Nothing's gonna happen to you." They pulled up to their motel. The night before they were told that they were moving. They had to hop around motels and hotels to make sure their cover couldn't ever be blown.
"And what makes you so sure?"
"Because," he said putting the gear in park.
"Because?" She pressed.
"Because, I won't let anything happen to you, okay? Now c'mon. We gotta get our stuff ready to go."
Star used the little time they had to shower first. Bill laid on his bed, trying to settle his headache. He got them frequently since working with Star. He reminded himself again of his cruiser and uniform, it's going to all be worth it. His headache began to dull as he focused on the sound of the shower water hitting the tile. The ambiance was soon killed when Star began to sing Waterloo by Abba. It wasn't very pretty. He tried to tone it out, by getting his ear to target the shower water but his mind started to play tricks on him. Aware that there was a naked girl in there, sudsy and wet. He snapped his eyes open appalled by the intrusive thought.
"What the hell," he muttered, disgusted with himself. Feeling no different than all the jawns she had to deal with. Especially with what went on today, he couldn't believe he let his mind wander off like that.
There was a knock at the door, Stan was here. And thank god, he didn't have to be stuck with his thoughts any longer. He looked through the peephole quickly before inviting him in, double checking.
"Ay, how's it going Bill?" He patted Bill's shoulder. "And where's Star, the wonder, at?" He said noticing the empty room.
"Shower." He said and right after she began to sing again. The same tune by Abba.
"She never shuts up, does she? How do you do it?" Stan laughed. "Anyway, here," he handed him a new envelope with keys. "Hotel this time. Should be better than this dump. And your little lady has court in the morning," he said handing over Star's court summons.
"Court? While she's working?" He said looking over it.
"I know but this is from a prior charge. All she can do is show up and explain she's doing CI work and the judge will throw it out. We tried to get it postponed but the judge wasn't having it."
"Well shit. But thanks for dropping by Stan. I got some addresses and stuff will you take it before you leave?" He picked his notepad off the tv stand.
"Sure thing." He looked over the addresses satisfied at what he saw. "These look real promising Bill. And that girl, uh, Gina!" He snapped his fingers upon remembering. "Got some names of some small timers outta her. You're doin' a good job." He said as Bill walked him to the door. "How 'bout we meet tomorrow at the diner across the courthouse? While Miss Star deals with the judge?"
"Sounds good. See you then."
When Star got out of the shower, she spotted her and Bill's bags at the door, ready to go and that meant she had to be too then. The hotel they were hooked up with was already ten times nicer than their motel in just the lobby. They walked in their room, the double beds covered in plush stark white bedding. Star ran for her bed jumping on it with the biggest smiled Bill had ever seen on her face.
"I've never seen anything like this!" She said plopping down. "It's like a palace." It was a really nice hotel but Bill probably wouldn't hold it to palace level, though.
"And there's a radio in here!" She said turning it on and searching through stations. "You think we can go to that little clothing store we saw close by? I wanna buy an outfit for tonight,' she stopped turning the dial when she heard Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival pumping through the radio waves.
"Sure. I gotta find something too." ...
Bill was waiting at the register with his purchased deep red button-up and black slacks waiting on Star as she scrounged up dollars to pay for her shimmering dress in the same color as his shirt. She insisted they matched.
"We gotta look legit," she stressed on him.
Growing impatient, Bill asked the cashier how much she still owed, pulling his billfold out.
"I got it, hold on," Star protested but the transaction went through anyway. "Aw, you did have to do that," she said following Bill out the store. "How much do I owe you? I had like a twenty on me, I just gotta find it."
"It's fine."
"No really. I'll pay you back whatever you want."
"Don't, say it like that..."
"Oh, I didn't mean it like that..." she looked away embarrassed. That was strange to him, he'd never seen her face fall in such a way, and it made him feel bad.
"It's okay. Let's just get ready, alright?" ...
They took the graffitied subway to the disco. Star stood, holding on the pole in the center aisle, not wanting to wrinkle her short dress, she wore it with black tights and thigh high heels boots. Bill was silently sulking about having to go the disco, he wasn't a great dancer. And besides that, he was dreading having to keep an eye on Star with so many people she could hide behind, she was little. He was glad he was as tall as he was but still searching for someone with just the disco lights to see by was going to be a task.
"Chin up, kid," Star said with a smirk. "It's gonna be a blast. And you look great," she said trying to put him at ease.
"We have —"
"Yes, I know what we gotta do," she cut him off. "But at least you're lookin' suave doin' it, right? And me too?" She tilted her head unashamed she was fishing a compliment out of him.
"Yes, you look great too," he tried to hide his smirk.
"Such a gentleman."
Bill let her lead through the crowded disco as she searched for the jawn that invited her. The place was roaring with life and Bill could already spot all the illegal shit going on. He could smell sweat, alcohol, and reefer in the place. Pot was one thing but he was certain the place didn't even have a license to sell booze, either. The real action was on the dance floor, several couples were showing out their dance moves, trying to top each other. Star was vibing along to September by Earth, Wind, and Fire as she walked on her tip toes to see in front over her. She pointed overhead, near the back corner of the place at the end of the makeshift bar.
"There he is," she said pointing a guy in an all black jumpsuit with dark sideburns and chest hair to match. As they approached, she paused pulling on Bill's arm so that she could speak in his ear. "Just follow what I do, okay? Just once." Bill certainly didn't like that plan he knew how she could get but there was no time for arguing. "Randi!!" She said with her arms out, embracing the jawn.
"Hey, sweet thing. Glad you came," he kissed her cheek. "And uh, who's the tall fella?"
"This is my guy, Jax," she said going to Bill's side, hugging his arm.
"What happened to Benny?"
Star frowned, "Locked up in Riker's. For a while now."
"Rikers, yikes. Sorry to hear. Well nice to meet you Jax, Randi, with an 'I'," he smiled, his gold-capped canine flashing under the lights as they shook hands. "Now you don't mind if I steal your girl for a moment?"
Bill wanted to tell the man yes, yes he mind. This guy, Randi with an 'I', was bad news and he knew it. He didn't want Star alone with him at all but he knew, it was going have to happen.
"It's cool," Star piped up. "Have a beer or something," she told Bill. "It'll only be for a moment, I promise."
"See. She promises, Jax," Randi said.
Bill had to sit back and watch as Star and Randi, dipped into a bathroom right behind the bar. He got the bartenders attention and ordered a beer and a shot of whiskey. Fuck it, he thought, what's the worse he could do than drink on the job. He turned around, leaning back on the bar with his elbows, watching the dance floor. Occasionally, he'd look back at the bathroom door. They had ten more minutes before he went barging in. A girl in a gold dress approached him, moving to the beat. She was really pretty, braids from the front of her hair blending into her fro, and the disco ball lights speckling her deep-toned skin.
"Hey, baby? Why you alone?" She said smoothly. Her dress had slits on both sides going all the way to her hips, showing off her beautiful long legs.
"Uh just waiting on a friend," he took a gulp of his Coors.
"You wanna boogie while you wait?" She reached for his hand.
"I don't, uh, I don't know how?"
"Aww," she laughed, "I'm a good teacher."
"Jax!" Star yelled peeping her head from out the bathroom door. "Jax!" He wasn't used to his new name to respond to it. She saw that he was talking to a stunner and for some reason, it took a hit to her self-esteem. And it really took a lot to do that. Not that Star thought she was the babe of all babes. But this woman could easily have gotten into Studio 54 just by batting her long lashes.
"Jax!" She yelled again and finally, he turned his head.
"Oh, excuse me," Bill politely said but glad he was able to ditch the dance floor, not so much leave the girl hanging though. "What's going on?" He said hushed to Star when he met her by the bathroom door.
"A real party." She smirked opening the door enough for him to slide through.
He got in to see 20 people inside, having a private party. The bathroom wasn't a bathroom at all just a room, full of free booze and coke piled on a side table that Randi was in charge over. Bill had caught people with tiny baggies of the stuff every now and again in Newark. But seeing a large pile of the stuff was jarring. Randi was giving out bumps with a little gold spoon to the girls in the room. Bill noticed he was one of the few guys in the place.
"Jax!" Randi gave him a little nod. "Couldn't leave ya hangin' out there."
"The real parties in here," a girl with long dark hair said giggling checking Bill out.
"Come, have some," Randi motioned. "My treat."
"Um," he hesitated. "I uh—"
"Jax, are you already drunk?" Star widened her eyes signaling him to be cool. "He's being silly, Randi," she said pulling the attention to herself. "He'll do some, ladies first, right?"
"Of course, baby," he got a bump ready for her. He made her lean into it so that he could run his free hand down her side and on to her bottom. Bill watched as she inhaled the white powder, really to prepare himself. He never thought that this job would lead him to do this. And to keep up appearances he had to, that was the worst part of it. Star tilted her head back, pinching her nose, eyes shut tight. And she, she moaned? Bill felt way out of touch with all this.
"Fuuuuck that's good," she said.
"I only get the best, straight Miami, no cuts," Randi gave her bum a smack. "Alright, and you Jax? This'll sober you up real quick."
"May I?" Star said reaching for his little spoon. "He likes it when I give it to him," she flashed a cheeky smile.
"I bet. You got a real fuckin' brick house, Jax," he passed the spoon off.
He watched Star try to give him a humble amount, she was watching out for him despite the whole situation. She motioned for him to lean down, he was staring right at her chest, where she held the spoon. He plugged up his right nostril, inhaling with his left. He groaned at the burn and then, he felt his whole head go numb.
"Fuuuuck..." he echoed Star.
"Good stuff, huh?" Randi said dipping his finger in the powder and taking it to his gums.
"I'll get you, boys, a drink. Don't miss me," she winked at them.
"She's a sweet little thing, isn't she? You're lucky, I would love to have her. She's loyal," Randi said prepping another bump for himself. "All these girls in here. They're mine. You can have at any one of them, be my guest." Bill glanced at a group of them dancing together, they all took time to check him out, smiling at him.
Bill's head was buzzing but he was super focused, it was an intense feeling but it felt good. He was ashamed to think that but damn. "I'm alright," he took a seat, "I like to stick by Star."
"Don't blame, ya. She gets the job done. And fabulously, too." Star came back with two bourbon's on the rocks for them, taking a seat on Randi's lap. "Go on," he said to Bill, "I see you lookin'. Dip a finger in there," he pointed at the pile.
"Would you like me to do it for you Jaxie?" Star said.
"Oh let the man handle it for once, darling. Told you, ya got a good one," Randi said. It felt very backhanded with how he had his hands running up and down her body in front of him. Bill poked his finger in the pile and rubbed the powder along his gums. It tasted awful, like nail polish, and then his mouth went numb. He took a sip of his drink and couldn't even taste the bite of the alcohol.
"I see you lookin' at my boy over here, Nance," Randi hollered to a tall girl with french braids and intricate gold eyeliner. "Get us around, will ya? Come over." He turned his head back to Bill. "She's a fox. Anyway, you push?"
Bill tilted his head confused and so Star spoke for him. "He doesn't do nothin' else but take care of me. He leaves the snow to the big guys," she kissed Randi's cheek.
"Well, if you ever think about it? You make a pretty dime of this stuff. And speaking of dimes!" He said as Nance came back with a tray of drinks. She passed them around and then took a seat right on Bill's lap. He expected to feel awkward but the coke had him feeling none of that. "Got some fellas who are driving pure muscle on 5th avenue right now. Since they started pushing." Randi continued his braggadocious spiel. "You saw Ron a week or so ago right? With Gina?" Randi asked Star.
"Was that his name? I never got to meet him, I just waited for Gina on my spot."
"Ah! Well, he's one of my boys."
"Can't believe you're pushin' like that Randi, sheesh," she giggled.
"Ah, not all me baby, I just buy bulk and go from there."
Bill, was noting the whole conversation, Star was really pulling through with getting info tonight. He knew when he woke up this morning, today was the day.
"Anyway," Randi continued on. He was super high considering he wouldn't shut the hell up already. "Another key?"
Bill was actually itching for another the whole time Randi was talking. It just felt so good, his heart pumping to the beat of the muffled disco music outside, he felt alive. At the moment. Nance fixed him a bump three times bigger than what Star had given him. She glanced at him, a small look of worry flashed in her eyes but she let it happen. That was the move for the night, letting it happen. They had to, to get the job done right.

Noctis’ S/O is a Phantom Thief
Persona 5 x Final Fantasy XV
Takes place in an AU where Japan is a Lucian region.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He doesn't have much of an opinion on the Phantom Thieves. He knows that they're there, and he keeps tabs on them because of the news that they're stirring up, but other than that he doesn't have any strong feelings.
Would low-key get very jealous of your teammates, because you have to spend almost every waking hour with them. He's a prince, so it's natural that he was very spoiled as a child, and even though he doesn't show it very much, he can get very childish.
He once became a very salty bae because you were on the phone with Makoto and you called her "Queen." You've never called him your King before, and wouldn't it make more sense if you did??
On the other side, your friends wouldn't believe you if you said your boyfriend was Noctis. Since Noctis goes to a completely different school, they didn't even think that your "boyfriend" was real. The Phantoms just thought that you said you were taken to shoo away people who tried to hit on you.
When Ryuji finally asks for a name to this boyfriend of yours, you would casually say Noctis, and the Phantoms would just think that you're being cheeky.
You wouldn't do anything to correct them or insist that your boyfriend wasn't just a figment of your imagination.
When you finally get them to meet, they would just stare at Noctis completely starstruck.
Noctis is a very shy babe, so he wouldn't talk very much during his first meeting with your friends. He'd probably stay quiet and talk mostly to you.
It would be up to the Phantom Thieves to try and warm up to him, but not only do they have little time to get to know him, they see him as a prince. While they aren't afraid of making friends in higher places, they have to be more cautious and secretive around him, and this creates a distance between them.
When the Phantom Thieves start to become more popular, you're going to spend more time with your teammates, so you have to cancel on him more. If you did have free time, you would be too tired to go out on a date with Noctis.
It would put a strain on your relationship, and the two of you will fight more.
You can’t deny that you haven’t been spending much time with Noctis recently, and you can’t deny that you’ve been spending more time getting caught up with the Phantom Thief business, but what kills you is that you have to lie to him.
For all he knows, it's because you prefer to hang out with your friends than with him.
He feels very insecure whenever you cancel on him, or tell him that you already have plans with your friends, because in his mind he knows that he doesn’t have many redeeming qualities, and your friends are so much more interesting.
Noctis wouldn't be able to figure out your secret on his own. In his mind, there's no way that his cute little S/O would have anything to do with the Phantom Thieves other than keeping up with them on the news or checking the Phansite every now and then like everyone else at school.
You also wouldn't be able to tell him either.
If you ask your teammates, they would shoot down that suggestion right away. Ryuji and Morgana would automatically disagree, and Ann and Yusuke wouldn't voice it directly, but they would feel bad about your situation. Akira would give the final word, and Makoto would try to explain.
“I understand that it must be hard on your relationship right now, and if you were any other person, we would’ve let him in on our secret, but…because he’s the prince, it’s too risky. You can’t let him know. I’m sorry, [Name].”
After a rather difficult argument, you would end up shouting your secret at him on impulse anyway.
He doesn't believe you at first, but then he does at the same time??? He's just like, it all makes sense, but at the same time he still can't believe that you actually spend your free time being some Robin Hood avenger.
He’s just trying to process this.
“I feel like my bond with Noctis is growing even deeper.”
Now that the big secret is out, it's as if you've built a bridge in your relationship, and the two of you are back to being happy together again.
He's very understanding about what you do. He's a little bit weirded out at first, but soon learns to accept it.
Noctis understands that you have an obligation to the Phantom Thieves to take down the corrupt, just like how he has responsibilities as prince, so he would never ask you to stop what you're doing.
Noctis will keep your secret for you till the day he dies.
Even though Noctis doesn't like being the center of attention, for the life of him this boy doesn't know what low-key means.
Have you seen his Moogle Chocobo Carnival outfit??? His Audi car???
He will abuse his position to help you out. Like when he does paperwork on the happenings around the kingdom, he will purposely be very vague or use confusing wording when he fills out stuff on the Phantom Thieves.
During council meetings alongside his father, when the Phantom Thieves are being brought up, Noctis will change the subject to something else.
You think that because of his title he would be a little more cautious when it comes to public issues, or he would be wary of scandals or how people see him, but nope.
If someone asks him for his opinion on the Phantom Thieves, he will have no hesitation and say right then and there that he is an avid supporter of the Phantoms.
Yes, I support the Phantom Thieves, and I am madly in love with one of the members.
Ignis will try to get him to be subtle about his opinions, because that's now politics work, but Noctis will legitimately shout his devotion from the rooftops.
Will be prepared to fight Goro Akechi if he continues to trash the Phantoms.
He doesn't usually listen to the gossip at school, but will listen in now because they might drop some info about the Thieves.
Has a long ass list of corrupt people that has been annoying him since childhood.
“Noct, I can’t change Ignis’ heart just because you want to avoid vegetables.”
Your friends would totally yell at you for letting out the secret to Noctis, but they would just sigh and eventually accept it.
Noctis will also make an effort to get to know them better now, and would appreciate them for taking care of you.
He likes Morgana the most, but that's only because he can't hear Morgana, and everyone is too polite and awkward to tell him what the sneaky little bugger is saying. Other than that, he gets along well with everyone, but is awkward around Makoto because shes's like a female copy of Ignis and a love rival.
Even thought Noct is understanding, he still worries about you every now and then, especially after you tell him the secret to changing people's hearts. He would wait for you at the Insomnian metro after almost every trip to the Metaverse and take you back to his apartment to take care of you.
He kinda sucks at it though.
He has to ask Ignis to teach him basic first aid, and when he tried to apply some of those skills on you, you ended up giving him another lesson on first aid.
It's the thought that counts.
Also, Post-Palace Cuddles !!
Is secretly a very proud boyfriend, because his S/O is so badass!!

Rant (part 2)
Another excuse for his hatred is that "ugh Aoyama is so boring." No he's not. He's just very weird. Case in point 1) Episode 27. You know when Ichigo was explaining why she was late? Remember what he did? Nothing. He just stared even after she stopped talking. With an expression like that, you can't even tell what he's thinking. I was scared when he started walking towards her because I had no clue what he'd do. He didn't even look mad but he didn't look happy. 2) His cold cynical attitude. This guy has the face and attitude of an angel but just think about what that means with the fact that he was acting the whole time and had the capacity to keep it going for his whole life— what would he be like without the facade? Ever thought of that? Is that not interesting enough? Okay how about this. The bell collaring. Remember when he tied the bell around Ichigo's neck because he wanted to know where she was? Well at first I thought it was cute until I realised that it was a way of exerting dominance even if it was subtle. He even said "You are my cat." I might be taking it too literally because he was probably joking but there have been instances where he was Impulsive. Next to that, his love for Ichigo is almost out of control because it's so strong towards the end of the anime. The Blue knight, created from his desire to protect Ichigo is brutal. You've seen what he did to Kisshu— it almost killed him though that could be from Deep Blue but it's valid. Not only that but he kinda has no value for life other than Ichigo's. If you notice after he joined the Mew Mews, he only seldom helped the others and spoke to the others. He was solely concentrating on Ichigo. In all honesty, I like him more than Kisshu. Yes I know, "Oh Kisshu is so cute! He's so hot! He has so much character" Yes. Kisshu has a very colourful personality and he's lovable but Kisshu is utterly UNSTABLE, ABUSIVE and DOMINEERING. In episode 45 you can clearly see it— he went insane. Yes, he wasn't sure and didn't understand his love for Ichigo but that's no reason to threaten to kill her if she didn't follow him to God knows where. Notice he didn't tell her straight up that he loved her, he just said to come with him and lashed out when she didn't understand. Ichigo is slow. If you want to get your point across, lay it out big and bold for her. Aoyama did it early so he already sealed the deal. Even if Ichigo wasn't that sure of his true feelings, she got a confession up front. Even more so in the episode 38. And lastly, what Kisshu was doing though unintentional, he was low-key traumatising Ichigo. She was terrified and feared for her life. Case closed. Stop bashing Aoyama. He's a good child and tried even though he knew he was a useless human before he harboured the power of the Blue Knight. ))

Note
I love reading abt ur characters so freylic and stelia! ^^
<3333333333333333 I LOVE YOU
~ Full Name: Freylic Reyalos (his name means “Prince of Light” and his surname means “royal.” He’s the heir of the royal family :D and the royal familiy are one of the few families with a surname!)

~ Gender and Sexuality: non-binary and extremely pansexual

~ Pronouns: he/him

~ Ethnicity/Species: Neflora - Feflora

~ Birthplace and Birthdate: Sinalópolis, 1 Naya 997

~ Guilty Pleasures: Luciora, talking to Luciora, making people happy (especially when that includes Luciora)

~ Phobias: dark voids but he doesn’t meet those very often

~ What They Would Be Famous For: he’s the Prince of Light!! There are more Neflora of the royal family but he is the heir of the main branch of the family. It is his job to travel over the planet and visit every city and village in one Orbit, and in each city/village he shoots a ray of light to the sky. It’s like a ritual wishing everyone happiness and peace! So because he travels over Elunia annually, everyone knows him. He’s like, the most famous Neflora of the planet haha

~ What They Would Get Arrested For: I don’t think anyone would arrest Prince Freylic??? No one has the authority lmao??? But he wouldn’t be arrested for anything haha he’s too Good

~ OC You Ship Them With: no one actually, it is already decided that he has to Bond (marry in Elunian terms) with a far-away cousin to continue the power-of-Light branch of the fam :( the family member he chooses is named Alefy but I don’t really ship that. I want to ship him with someone tho, I should think of a cute love story for him

~ OC Most Likely To Murder Them: I think the only one with the power to do that would be the Kayu

~ Favourite Movie/Book Genre: romance, comedy

~ Least Favourite Movie/Book Cliche: characters dying??? Why does that happen??

~ Talents and/or Powers: he has the magical power of Light, as the entire royal family does. With his power he can shoot beacons of light to the sky! He doesn’t exactly know why he can, but Emilaya discovers it’s because it feeds the Universe lol. But he is a very strong Neflora, although not necessarily in terms of fighting but that his magic has a strong impact on whatever he decides it needs to have an impact on! He also possesses a strong protecting power (shields made of light and stuff)

~ Why Someone Might Love Them: tbh many young Neflora are hardcore crushing on him lmao; he’s gorgeous and lights up the world wherever he goes! Besides that he’s ridiculously kind and modest. He and Luciora are a surprising best-friends combi because Luciora is by far not as soft as him, but he cares more about her than about anyone (not in a romantic way). I love writing about those two lol

~ Why Someone Might Hate Them: perhaps he’s too pure??? Can you hate someone bc of that? Also because so many are in love with him, Neflora who are in love with Neflora who are in love with Freylic are jealous of him. But overall everyone really likes him :p

~ How They Change: he doesn’t really change much. Because of his experience travelling the world he has already seen so much that nothing really surprises him anymore, not even the Yukaï. He returns to Sinalópolis early from his trip because of the war but he is a steady, calm, bright factor in the middle of chaos

~ Why You Love Them: he just came out of nowhere??? I swear I was randomly typing a scene and suddenly it said “does Prince Freylic know about this too?” and I was like holy shit who’s Prince Freylic?!?! Let me create a life for him. And suddenly his friendship with Lucy was there too??? I love characters who come out of nowhere and he was suddenly there and fitted so wonderfully! lthough he doesn’t feature 24/7 in the story I enjoy when he is there and when he interacts with Lucy; it’s all cool and nice. Omg I just discovered he has his own fanclub, the Freylic Fanclub I’m dying ahdnfjknf
On to Stelia!!
~ Full Name: Stelia

~ Gender and Sexuality: female and in all likelyhood gay

~ Pronouns: she/her

~ Ethnicity/Species: Neflora - Feflora

~ Birthplace and Birthdate: Sinalópolis, 3 Une 1000

~ Guilty Pleasures: dawn and dusk and twilight!

~ Phobias: big insects :O

~ What They Would Be Famous For: marrying (Bonding in Elunian) the heir to the Zerymélla family and taking part in the Great Battle

~ What They Would Get Arrested For: uhhhhhhhhhhhhh making everything dark (not really I’m joking)

~ OC You Ship Them With: Méllanyyyyyyyyyyy

~ OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Bella maybe? But not because Stelia is mean or anything. She’s just Méllany’s accomplice :) but she doesn’t really harm anyone

~ Favourite Movie/Book Genre: mystery, fantasy

~ Least Favourite Movie/Book Cliche: cheating

~ Talents and/or Powers: she has the magical power of Day and Night. She can make dark places light up and light places darker and she can decide whose day or night she wants to transform into night or day (in other words she can make someone really scared real quick lol). It is not entirely clear what else she can do with it, but never underestimate the power of day and night!

~ Why Someone Might Love Them: when she loves you, she’s like, Super Dedicated. She can care deeply too and is pretty sober most of the time. She can also accidentally be super impulsive but never in a harmful way, more in a… “damn I did not see that coming :O” way. Méllany suffers from it weekly

~ Why Someone Might Hate Them: she seems kinda gloomy and unsociable I guess

~ How They Change: in the beginning she might be kinda gloomy and unsociable lol, but it’s more that she’s just not necessarily interested in many people. She is interested in Méllany tho, it’s like a form of admiration she has for Méllany’s beauty and confident attitude. When they get to know each other and become friends, Stelia shows her initiative side. She low key forces Méllany to get over herself when she refuses to help Emily bring her power back, while Stelia immediately says she will join the mission (in other words Stelia knows what needs to be done for the greater good - even though she doesn’t really like Emily because Emily accidentally almost killed Méllany once). It’s nice how she develops from Méllany’s admirer into her equal, when they encourage and support each other. During the Great Battle, they work together and can create incredible attacks (omg I just noticed that for soulmates their magic is compatible??? Like, Stanlo and Yoni have that, and Emilaya and Robin too??? That’s a pretty cool motif)

~ Why You Love Them: she’s just pretty interesting?? Her part is so small but she’s always there. I like how she eventually becomes one of the few people who can actually talk sense into one of the most headstrong and arrogant people of the city. I like how her love for Méllany develops and how the two come together and what they can achieve, and how she comes to terms with her inner strength. It’s nice!
Thank youuuu for asking them Myrsky this was fun!!! <33
